Build and learn with Stick-lets® (300 connectors to be precise) during Making Montana: February 23rd + 24th. Details below. Learn more here.

To inspire and empower the next generation of innovators, ImagineIF Libraries, Flathead Valley Community College, Kalispell Chamber of Commerce, Job Service Kalispell and Montana West Economic Development have joined forces to offer Making Montana, a two-day event featuring a Manufacturing and Technology Expo alongside the annual Kalispell Mini Maker Faire. The event will be at the Flathead County Fairgrounds February 23th-24th, 2018.

With over 2400 people engaging with makers and manufacturers over the course of two days, our first Manufacturing and Technology Expo and Kalispell Mini Maker Faire in 2017 was a great success. We expect an even greater attendance this year.

Area schools are bringing middle and high school students to the Manufacturing and Technology Expo on Friday, February 23rd. Manufacturers and technology companies will demonstrate what they do and offer hands-on activities to engage students. Exhibits and activities will highlight the innovation, problem solving and collaboration skills needed in manufacturing today.

On Saturday, February 24th the Kalispell Mini Maker Faire will showcase the amazing work of all kinds of makers, people who embrace the do-it-yourself spirit and want to share their creations with an appreciative audience. Exhibits will be interactive and highlight the process of making things.
